I never understand this logic that why I don't have the right to ask for the reason behind any rule or regulation created by my university.

I want to share one such incident when my right to information right was violated. In my hostel  a new rule has been formed under which hostlers are not allowed to stay in the rooms before the college hours. If any girl is having any such problem and want to rest in the room or want to take any important file or even a spoon left in the room, she is not allowed to go inside the hostel. I asked the chief warden why this rule has been started he said clearly that he cant discuss it with you, he can share it with the college management. I don't know how much effort or time it will take to share a piece of answer to a very simple question. He said he will allow only if you give me the written application signed by the hod to him. I said HOD is not free enough to sign such things she has many other things to do. He said don't fell in an argument with me. He even asked what your father do. I replied he is business man. He said I can work under him and then I can fell more to your questions.

Such a statement given by him made me feel bad that being in a democratic country  I cant even ask questions to the authorities because they are not working under by father. Using such language is derogatory to my self esteem.But I wont stop here I gonna ask the even higher authorities about the matter.
